One of the most important goals I've set for myself this year is to read more. A lot more. While shoving yet another square of toilet paper into "Parable of the Sower" by Octavia Butler, I realized I need to do better :)

So I found a piece of wire, twisted and wound it around and allowed it to guide me into the beautiful shapes you see; then I hammered away for some added texture. 

It turned out more beautifully than I ever imagined!! (you can even slide a page between the wires so the bookmark doesn't slide out of your book).

On the encouragement of my lovely IG followers, I decided to make a few more; So here she is in all her glory.

I'll try SO hard to make yours as close to what you see pictured, but please allow for slight differences in shape.
